Since the first generation Bandit we have been committed to offering one single kite in our range. Our goal is not to offer just a «versatile» kite but rather the best kite for each discipline and style of rider, from the beginner to the pro athlete.
To be successful in all areas is a real challenge from an R&D perspective ; this process is proving to be much more complex than developing several highly specialized kites. The most difficult challenge faced with the B5 was to improve from the B4 in all areas without losing any of its qualities – an extremely tough call that is ongoing.
Each year, we test more than sixty prototypes in order to meet all our chosen criteria and we spend more than 120 days on the water to develop each new collection.
With the B5 we have largely achieved all our initial objectives over the B4. Lighter, more maneuverable and responsive ; the B5 is even smoother and ultimately more enjoyable and more effective regardless of the type of riding you do.

In navigation, the VOLT gives you confidence because it provides an early and progressive traction during the first meters with a constant power that you can kill at any time. Controlling your speed and keeping your trajectory is excellent.
The VOLT fits all wind conditions and has an exceptional range. Thanks to its three struts, the kite is light. The bar control is precise in order to feel the kite tension and its position in the air, but it’s also very forgiving to riders mistakes.
Auto relaunch
The auto relaunch is the most recognized evolution in recent years. The Delta erases the difficulties of past designs during the relaunch phase. The kite automatically tilts by itself on one tip and glides gently to the window edge, where it safely sits there without any power. You only have to guide its re-launch when you are ready to do so. No complicated maneuver is necessary; this is what the Auto-Relaunch is all about.
Safety
The one and only true safety is to be able to completely kill the power of the kite at any time, in any position. Thanks to the EVO bridle The VOLT can easily be neutralized when you trigger the safety system as it lands on his back without power.

Since its creation, the Trax has always been F-One most technologically advanced board. For 2010, we have focused on the twist and flex control using a 3D carbon cross in the upper layer: the Twist Carbon Control was born. The Trax does all the work for you as it absorbs all vibrations instead of passing it on your legs. It has an unbelievable directional stability and an astonishing precision when edging. Its 3D bottom shape, composed of a double concave shape, lateral V and channels makes the Trax our fastest board. It also allows us to use a higher scoop for greater comfort and carving. The Trax is a successful mix of technology and performance. It combines the speed and precision one can expect from any top of the line board. The Trax is made for all those riders who need a competitive board for freestyle, riding in any conditions and great pop to launch big airs.

The F-One Sk8 makes its comeback in our 2010 product line! Ideal for carving, playful and responsive, the Sk8 is our wave oriented twin-tip. Intended for powerful carves, the Sk8 comfort in choppy waters and strong winds is unmatched. The Sk8 is built for carving and dynamic riding.

Since the release of the F-One Bandit in 2008 it has been consistently geared towards high end performance, and in the process has become less beginner friendly.  With the release of the Revolt last year F-One filled a gap in the market by releasing a ‘Beginner Bandit’.

With all the advantages of a delta C, but a much smoother power and near auto relaunch, not only is this an excellent beginner kite, but also a highly praised surf kite.

The Bandit III is everything we ever dreamed of in a kite.  Providing the ultimate ride for any style we are were amazed at the immediate dialling in with minimal time needed to adjust to this incredible kite. From the very first jump you will feel the intuitive sensation of becoming one with your kite. And the smooth power is a revelation.

Its a polyvalent board that can be use with or without strap and in pure surf. It is slightly longer for better control when strapless.

Showing the same qualities as the 5’6” it fears no waves! Its lengh and 46 cm wide allow you to use the kite at minimum in your surf.

It is also a great board for strapless cruising in light wind conditions. Its overall volume and its 46cm wide helps out a lot in the jibes.
